We offer the following Shipping Services

  • Sea freight, air freight, courier (small orders) options
  • LCL (less than container loading) & FCL (full container load) shipments
  • Palletized or unpalletized loading
  • Wooden pallets (included) or plastic pallets (charged to customer)
  • Additional charges for custom made pallet requirements
  • Shipping basis FOB, CIF, C&F basis
  • Cost of USD 150 per shipment for documentation and handling
  • Shipping agent can be nominated by the client or can be arranged by Vegan Island

Documentation

  • Commercial invoice
  • Packing list
  • Bill of lading/ air way bill
  • Certificate of Origin
  • Any additional documents provided on request

ORDERING PROCESS

Payment terms:

  • The company may execute any export order subject to the following acceptable payment terms
  • L/C – Confirmed and irrecoverable letter of credit issued by a first class bank.
  • CAD – Cash against Documents
  • DP – Documents against Payment
  • DA – Documents against Acceptance
  • Advance payment Free documents (After shipment or receipt of cargo by buyer)
  • Any delayed payment/credit period extended will be charged interest, based on prevailing bank rates.
  • All bank charges outside Sri Lanka are to be borne by buyers.
  • 100% advance required for shipments less that a container load for the first 3 shipments; Terms can be negotiated thereafter

Order process

  • Each client account is managed by a dedicated person from the marketing team, supported by the head of the departments, and relevant senior managers for different areas. A client is requested to send a purchase order (e-mails are accepted in the absence of a PO based on the clients request).
  • A proforma invoice & sales contract is issued on acceptance of the order, which the client is to sign and return by e-mail.
  • Clients are requested to pay in as per negotiated terms in order to process the order For regular or common products, we work towards shipping out in 30 days from payment and finalizing all packaging (subject to seasonality and product availability). For retail packs, shipping timelines may vary according to the packaging requirement.
  • Pre-shipment samples will be sent for approvals, unless where agreed otherwise.
  • Shipping documents will be couriered to the relevant party (client or agent)

FOR RETAIL ORDERS

Choose Your Product

Firstly, choose your product at the our online store.

After you click “Add to cart” or “Pay Now” you will begin the checkout process.

1. Review Cart

The first stage of the shopping cart process is to review your cart. Use the “Quantity” column to remove or change the quantity of a product. Click “Return to Shopping” to continue shopping or click “Continue to Shipping Information” to proceed to the next stage in the checkout process.

2. Shipping Information

Fill in your shipping information. This is where you want your product shipped to (applicable for physical product).
Next click “Continue to Shipping Method”.

3. Shipping Method

Select the shipping method you would like.
Then click “Continue to Billing Information”.

4. Billing Information

Please note that the information you enter here must be the same as that associated with your credit card. For example you must use the correct billing address. (This is the address where your credit card statement is sent.)

To ensure that your order is properly processed, please enter a valid email address and phone number.

If your billing information is the same as your shipping information then leave the box checked and click “Continue to Payment Method”.

If your billing information is different from your shipping information then uncheck the box and fill in the billing information. Then click “Continue to Payment Method”.

5. Payment Method

If using a credit/debit card for payment then enter your credit card number, Expiration Date and CVV Code.
Next click “Submit Payment”.

If using PayPal for payment then click on the PayPal tab and then click “Continue to PayPal”.

Finalize Your Order

This is a very important step. Your payment has been processed but you now must click the “Finalize Your Order” button to complete the shopping cart process.

All orders will receive a confirmation email.
